Homenagem ás gentes desse lugar, á Mamma Roma, ao seu filho e ao Pasolini.                            

Deitada no vermelho do chão ou d’uma saia aberta debaixo da cabeça. A performance acaba quando os três ninhos de pássaros nativos, que me acariciam e arranham o corpo, se desfazem completamente, corpo e chão cheios de palha. Os meus olhos ou estão fechados, ou se perdem no olhar direto das pessoas / no voo dos pássaros.

Então eu me vi como 
A pessoa que acordou à força
E com a vista repousado em volta olhava 
Em frente, para cima, fixo observava 
Para reconhecer o lugar onde estava”

Na apresentação da peça d onde venho para as gentes desse lugar na Museumplein em Amsterdão, o músico e cenógrafo Wybe de Han ouvia no telemóvel Bassoon Concerto in D Menor, RV 481: II. Andante de Antonio Vivalldi  e com um acordeão tentava reproduzir o que ouvia em tempo real durante toda a performance. Em cada apresentação desta peça vou adaptá-la a outros lugares e colaborar com outr@s artistas, sendo a cena final do filme mamma roma o ponto de partida, vou propor uma apropriação por parte del@s do texto, das imagens ou da banda sonora e, estando em relação com a minha tarefa performativa, arranjarem uma estrutura de repetição para o material selecionado, redescobrindo, atualizando e transformando esse mesmo material. Where i come from for its people 

 

Synopsis:

​

Homage to that place´s folks, to Mamma Roma, her son and to Pasolini.

The performance finishes when the three native birds nests, that carresses and scraches my body, tear apart completly , body and floor full of straw. My eyes are closed or lose themselves in peoples gaze, or in birds flight.

In the presentation of d onde venho para as gentes desse lugar in Museumplein in Amsterdam the musician and cenographer Wybe de Han listened in his phone Vivaldi´s Bassoon Concerto in D Menor, RV 481: II. Andante and with his accordion tried to reproducewhat he listened to in real timeduring all performance. In each presentation of this piece I will adapt it to diferrent places and colaborate with other artists, being Mamma Roma last scene the starting point, I will propose to the other artists to apropriate the text, the images or the soundtrack and, while positioning themselves in relation with my performative task, to find out a repetitive structure to the selected material,redescovering, actualzing, and transforming that same material.
